Hair loss and progress pics as it’s national alopecia day, and it’s safe to say I’ve learned a lot about the condition this year after my hair started falling out in January. Some might see this as an overshare but I found photos and videos of others with the condition to be really helpful when mine first started, and also I no longer care about anyone seeing it in public if the wind moves now I’ve shown the whole internet and told everyone in the Metro 😂😂😂 Many people think of alopecia as total baldness and no lashes or brows but there are several different types, and mine was one huge patch and lots of smaller ones. I haven’t posted much wig content lately as I’ve been dealing with other health stuff but I’ve got plenty of very pretty wigs still to film but it has also been way too warm, been living in my beloved cap 😂 I’m fortunate that I’ve had quite a bit of regrowth - touch wood it stays around as I know it goes in cycles (the pictures are how it progressed and then the last two are the main patch now) the top of my hair has filled in too and I’ve got some sticky-up short sections where patches filled in. There’s a wonderful community of people on here as well as Alopecia UK who provided support, and I’ve got plenty of pretty wigs I’m looking forward to wearing when the temperature drops, as right now I’ve been living in baseball caps and wraps. #alopecia #alopeciauk #hairloss #wigs #wigsoftiktok #wig #hairlossjourney #hairregrowth #alopeciaareata #progress #progresspics
