Pole, 1 MILLION Followers, nearly P1 in the First 4h NLS race, but eventually... DNF. What was shaping up to be an unforgettable debut with our BMW M4 GT4, almost ended up in a disaster. Almost, because, even though we did not finish, it could have been MUCH WORSE. Steve experienced a tyre puncture on the main straight while doing 260+ kph (160 mph). Luckily, he could roll into the pits on this own. LUCKILY, this was our ONLY issue. Last year, a tyre puncture claimed 2 lives on that same section. The tie rod was gone too. We can only assume the rod broke and punctured the tyre, but alternative external scenarios are not excluded. Regardless, I'm super content. The pace of all 4 of us was incredible. The car was great.
