I wanted to elaborate on this post- for Limb Loss Awareness Month. Being a double amputee, and setting out “on foot” into property Ive never seen before, determined to cross anything in my way to get where I wanted to look for antlers. I did it, and it was a sucessfull hunt. Its so possible to live whatever kind of life you want after limb-loss. The hard work in the beginning stages of prosthetics and/or recovery/adapting to life is so exponentially worth it in the long run. I promise. Be dedicated, commit to doing difficult things to get better, and reap the rewards as long as you can be mobile.
