They say WV is almost Heaven because once you cross the river into KY youre actually in Heaven. It never really much mattered to me either way. Cause I get to watch the sun rise over the mountains of West Virginia in my back yard, and set in the hills of Kentucky in my front yard. My roots are tied to the banks of the Tug River on both sides. Back in 2018 we bought 5 raw acers of land, along that river with nothing but an idea, and a dream.. in 2020 we broke ground, and in 2021 we moved in. Making a home, and having a place for my kids to feel safe is all I ever wanted in life; I was going to do it no matter what. I’m so thankful that it’s on a nice piece of land with a pond to fish, all the animals, pigs, goats, chickens, space to grow a garden, down by the river nestled between the KY and WV mountians. This is our HOME.
