I used to hide behind “that’s just how I am” and “I’m just keeping it real” I didn’t even know I needed healing until I found Jesus. Many times we want the perfect relationship and the perfect guy, but lack the self development and communication skills that would be needed to maintain it. Truth is if God gave you the perfect man, you probably would self sabotage it, so he is withholding it for your benefit. Likewise, when someone did something I didn’t like, I immediately felt the need to tell them about themselves. But the Bible says “life and death is in the power of the tongue.” - Proverbs 18:21. Would you rather go in on that person with your words? Or take a second to get your thoughts together so you can articulate your needs, then reach a common ground? Because what you really want is change and all yelling does is put the other person on defense. On this walk with God this is truly an aspect he has continued to work with me on and when I tell you MY RELATIONSHIPS ARE SO MUCH MORE FRUITFUL💕 Am I perfect?…Ofcourse not, but definitely have made so much progress.
