Super simple 30 minute Mongolian beef bowls! So delicious and a high protein meal! I’m all about quick meals and this one didn’t disappoint! Save it and try it out this week for dinner! Recipe: -Cook rice in a rice cooker -Steam broccoli (my rice cooker has a steamer basket on the top so i just throw them in there while the rice cooks!) -In a pan, heat up 2 tsp of olive oil. -Add in 2-3 minced garlic cloves and 1/2 tsp minced ginger -Cook until fragrant for about 1-2 mins. -Add in 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce, 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce, 1/4 cup water and 1 tsp brown sugar and let simmer -Once it simmers, pull it off and set aside -Add in thinly sliced beef (we use @butcher_box !) to pan and cook until almost done. -Put heat on low and Add the sauce back into the pan with the beef and add a 1/2 tsp corn starch so sauce thickens up and coats the beef. -Plate rice, broccoli and beef.
