Do try it💕 Recipe for Tofu Chilli Ingredients: 1 pack extra firm tofu 2 tbsp corn starch 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Finely chopped green onion 1 tbsp sesame seeds For sauce: 2 tsp minced garlic 1 tsp minced ginger 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce 2 tbsp red chilli sauce 1 tbsp evoo 2 tsp maple syrup(optional) 1 tbsp rice vinegar Salt to taste 1/2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water Method: Drain the tofu and press it between two paper towels to remove as much liquid as possible. Cut the tofu into cubes or roughly cut them using your hands and toss in a bowl with the cornstarch. Heat olive oil in a pan on medium-high heat and add the tofu cubes. Let the tofu cook for a few minutes on each side until golden brown. While the tofu is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Once the tofu is crispy on all sides, lower the heat to low and pour the sauce and mix well. Add chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Mix together until the tofu is evenly coated with them. Optionally top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
