I could have fit the 38, but I have a wide foot, so I ordered my typical size (EU 39 aka US men’s 7) In Women’s I wear a US 8 1/2 - 9. I am pleased with the fit. Very comfortable. COMFORT The boots are very lightweight and comfortable. No sore spots. Insole is soft, but a bit flat. I will be adding an insert for extra arch support. They are fully laced (no zippers) so they can be as loose or snug as you like. MATERIAL Mostly pu Leather with a canvas-like body. I really like that the stress points (like the ankle) are not pu leather. I think this will increase the shoe’s longevity. TREAD Deep tread. Non Slip. Super light.
