Costco’s New Membership Scanning Rule! 🪪 My costco just got something new! It’s not a new product, or new samples, it’s a membership scanning rule! They’ve been implementing this slowly in select locations, and I guess it just reached my local costco. This is another preventative measure to crackdown on membership sharing that they’ve been hammering down on lately. As a costco shareholder, the crack down on membership has been pretty good to increase revenue. There hasn’t really been a decrease in sign ups or renewals since the crack down. As a costco member, this is wack. What are the families going to do if the cardholder aren’t capable of going themselves? or if they’re sick, old, or out of town? I’ve gone countless times to costco to buy food for my family when my parents (my dad has a membership) couldn’t. What do you think of this?
