Recipe below 👇 You can follow me #shakilaskitchenandvlogs Ingredients: 1/2 cup red lentils (masoor daal) 1/2 cup yellow lentils (mong daal) 3-4 tbsp chana daal (split chickpea lentils) 3 tbsp whole red lentils (sabut masoor) 2 cups water (approximately) 1.5 tsp salt 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp crushed chilli flakes For Tarka: 1/2 cup oil 1 tbsp cumin seeds 4 garlic cloves (thinly sliced) Dry red chilli 🌶️ (roughly broken) Garnishing: Chopped fresh coriander Sliced ginger Sliced green chillis Method: 1- Mix all the lentils and wash 3-4 times with fresh water. Soak for 10 minutes. 2- Boil with all the spices for 15 minutes or until tender and smooth. 3- Prepare the tarka with oil and all the ingredients written above until it golden brown. Pour over hot daal, turn the flame off and garnish with coriander, ginger and chillis. 4- Serve with boiled basmati rice, chopped (kachoomar) salad and grilled chicken tikka pieces.
