✨✨PUPDATE✨✨ on Kindred ✨Firstly - I want to say I am so humbled and thankful for those of you who are so kind, thoughtful, and generous to send a donation. I know times are tough for everyone in this economy but the medical needs for babies like her just don't stop 😭✨ Though Our sweet girls spay was a success; While the Vets had her opened up, they were SHOCKED to discover that this poor baby's bladder was engorged. She had been unable to fully relieve herself for quite some time due to "Atony of the bladder" - a condition where the bladder muscles are unable to fully contract... so the urine was just sitting there causing her so much discomfort. Any urine that had been coming out when she would go outside to pee, was just because of "overflow". The vet removed OVER 2 LITERS of urine from inside her 😭 she now has a catheter in place to keep her comfortable for the weekend. On top of all this - They determined she is in a serious state of Diabetic Ketoacidosis. This means She is a diabetic and will need insulin twice daily for the rest of her life. She has to remain hospitalized for her metabolic state to be monitored through the whole weekend. ..... unfortunately the unexpected LONGER hospital stay, means LARGER medical bills - and we're still trying to reach our first goal. A diabetic doggy is new waters for me, but thankfully we have a great support system with the rescue and the Vets we're working with. I've been told she's already feeling so much better and I'm hoping to get to bring her home by Monday to start this new journey 🫶🏼 Please keep her and us in your positive thoughts as we're not out of the trenches just yet. ✨unfortunately the longer hospital stay means larger medical bills.✨ And if its in your heart to help us with her medical cost, I have my info in my bio. Even just one dollar adds up when it comes from 100 people! Thank you so much for caring about this sweet sweet dog, i'll update as soon as i can #rescue #foster #shelter #adopt #dogsoftiktok
