Heres my top tips for starting retrieiving with a new dog! I find this particularly helpful for those less keen or the oppsoite with the really high drive dogs prone to show boating and running off with dummies. I use a trainign technique called ‘back chaining’ essentially starting with the end product and adding in the steps till with get to the final product, with the dog always understanding the end product/end goal.
