I’ve only included the letters we’ve learned so far. The eggs pull apart, and when you stamp both sides into the Playdough, they create an opposite imprint of the letter, adding a fun literacy twist to our play!

My preschooler has always wanted to play basketball like his big brothers, but finding a hoop that adjusts low enough for him was a challenge—until now. This basketball hoop goes down to the perfect height for little ones and looks just like a real basketball hoop, complete with a genuine backboard and a regular-sized rim. It’s incredibly sturdy (I filled the base with sand), and it matches his brothers’ hoop perfectly. It’s not only functional but also the cutest thing ever! Now my little one can shoot hoops just like his big siblings.

This week, our hands-on multisensory letter table is all about the letter D! Dive into a variety of engaging activities designed to enhance letter recognition and phonetic understanding. Students can write a D in sand, build it with playdough and delve into digging for D in our sensory bin. It’s a dynamic way to explore the sound and shape of the letter D, encouraging creativity while reinforcing early literacy skills. Join us at the table for a delightful discovery of all things D!

Discover our latest letter table activity featuring alphabet acorns! Initially intended for our sensory table, I quickly adapted these for more focused letter recognition work. Right now, we’re focusing on letters A, C, and O, which most of my students are familiar with. I’ve set up a special tray for letter A where students find the acorns labeled C, O, and A. Inside each acorn is an object that starts with these letters. The task? Match the object to the correct lowercase letter on the acorn’s lid. It’s a fantastic way for the kids to practice their letter recognition and matching skills in a hands-on way!
