How To Use A Soap Sponge: Updated Featuring our Fruit Salad Soap Sponge. The short answer is, wet your skin, wet your sponge and get scrubbing! The textured side (with the soapy drizzle decoration) will slough off any dry and flaky dead skin cells thank’s to the exfoliating texture. The flat, smooth side (with no soapy drizzle decoration) will give you a soft bubbly cleanse on any area you don’t want to exfoliate - more delicate areas such as the upper chest and stomach for example. Soap sponges are multi-use, so store them in a cool, dry place, out of contact with running/stagnant water to get the best longevity. Think of it like a big bar of soap, if you keep it sitting in water unnecessarily, it will run out a lot quicker by dissolving the soap quicker (bottom of your shower for example is probably the worst place to store, you’re washing away the soap when not wven using!). If stored correctly, you easily get a good few weeks out of a songle sponge.
