Soap sponges are multi-use, so store them in a cool, dry place, out of contact with running/stagnant water to get the best longevity. Think of it like a big bar of soap, if you keep it sitting in water unnecessarily, it will run out a lot quicker by dissolving the soap quicker (bottom of your shower for example is probably the worst place to store, you’re washing away the soap when not wven using!).
