In a large pot, brown ground beef and Italian sausage with salt and pepper. Drain, and set aside. 2. Toss in a chopped onion, garlic, and sauté for a few minutes. Add tomato paste, marinara sauce, seasonings, and chicken broth. Add meat back in. Bring to a boil. 3. Add in the lasagna noodle pieces, (and spinach if wanted) and boil on low heat. 4.
