How to fake a flat felled seam 🤫 this is not a true flat felled seam because technically one side is weaker than the other. It still gives the look and feel of a flat felled seam, and in my opinion it’s more beginner friendly. I recommend making your seam allowance on the larger side for this seam, typically I stick with 1cm but for this seam I did 1.5cm. After ironing the seam flat, you need to trim one side of the seam allowance, I’d aim for the halfway mark. Next is the fiddly part, you need to fold the larger seam allowance over the smaller seam allowance and tuck it under. If it makes it any easier feel free to iron here and check your fold is even and parallel. Now you want to sew your fold down close to the edge and voila! #duet with @Nikkitivities #fypシ I wanted to be an famous actor/influencer since I was in 7th grade. I was doing whatever I could for a some likes & comments, for man’s empty praise. That path lead to a lot of brokeness and destruction… long story short.. It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that decided to go to my Church, that my tia had been continuously inviting me to. I choose to go with an open heart. As I was standing during song service and everyone was worshiping. I began to feel something come over me, I felt chills throughout my body, from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I began to cry uncontrollably, I had no idea what I was feeling but I knew it was God. As I was crying and praying, God brought to my remembrance all the times he was there for me.. although I did not acknowledge him and was living deep in sin. All the times I could have died, but he was there watching over me. I heard “You’re home my child, I’ve been waiting for you, you are finally here”. Nothing in this world compared to feeling God’s precence for the first time. No amount of drugs, money, sex could ever satify me the way God did. I began to be super hunger for God after that, and I continued to go to Church and develop a personal relationship with him by always praying and speaking with him. I did not truly understand the bible before developing a relationship with God, but I had a man of God to help show me, and I started to Apply the teaching of Jesus to my life. I began to put God first in my life for the first time.. Mathew 6:33, Mark 16:16 and acts 2:38. (Very important concepts I have applied to my life that turned everthing around). After appying those God began to grow my understanding of the bible. I encourage you all to develop a relationship with God first! Start by talking/praying to him, ask Jesus to come into your life and reveal himself to you, with an open heart and with all vulnerability. You don’t have to be at churh to do this, you can ask God right now where you, at this very moment, even in your bed.
