Sumo deadlift vs conventional deadlift. This video shows the difference between the two common types of deadlifts. Conventional deadlift - The load arm (distance from hips to elbows) is bigger and hence more effort is required to lift the weight and the barbell has to travel a greater distance when compared to sumo deadlifts as shown in this video.
