I asked teacher if his Japanese improved a little in the school. Teacher said not really but he learned how to queue up, refill for rice , return the bowl after meal , put his bags to the rack etc skill. Mom is having culture shock now. It has been 3 weeks in the school but he is still not willing to take the school meals. It’s common to drink formula milk / breast feed in Malaysia in the preschool but apparently kids start drinking fresh milk after 1 year old in Japan. Eusen is having a hard time skipping the milk for lunch hour but he did it. The only thing is just he still refuse to eat in school. Do you prefer academic or play ? I used to think kids should just play in school but seeing Eusen came back learning new things and words made me rethink of this. After sending him to preschool for a month he recognise all the numbers and alphabet and he seems happy learning all these. In Japan they do not teach any academic and he does not speak Japanese at home. He couldn’t really make friends or understand what the teachers saying. I started to spend time teaching him some basic phrases like Ohayou Sensei ( Good morning teacher ) , Mata ne (See you) at home and he is slowly improving! Did you know that it is cheaper than ever to come to study in Japan now? 💸 😍 🇯🇵 If you want to apply to study #Japanese in Japan there is a lot of paperwork that needs to be handed in to the Japanese government when applying for a student visa. 📃 One of these documents is a recent bank statement from you or your financial sponsor showing at least the equivalent of 1.000.000 JPY (some schools may request a higher amount) saved for every 6 months you'd like to study. 💴 With the yen being comparatively weak right now, the amount you need to show on a bank statement to the Japanese government is now lower than before.
