Last week we had the unique opportunity to celebrate my birthday at one of my favorite resorts @Breathless Riviera Cancún and even got to catch up with some of our friends. Point of view of what an average commute to New York looks like… lots of traffic haha. But let’s face it, there’s beauty in the everyday. I usually allot myself 4hrs to comfortably give myself enough time to drive to New York from Philadelphia. This includes time for a few things: -the potential time to get gas -an hour for unanticipated traffic (on top expected) - Time from the LGA/JFK parking lot to the airport by bus -Random security -Coffee break (most crucial) Though not ideal, this is usually the time where I get in the mindset to start a trip. This is also when I listen to many of my podcasts by the likes of Andrew Huberman, Peter Attia, Joe Rogan, or just vibing to some deep chill tracks (Tritonia orGrouo Therapy by Above & Beyond). Either way, I’ve learned to really enjoy this time of just being. I found this viral sound on Instagram and it resonated because there is something beautiful about slowly approaching New York City, especially during a sunrise. Blessed to call this job my career, and loving every step that comes with it.
