Point of view of what an average commute to New York looks like… lots of traffic haha. But let’s face it, there’s beauty in the everyday. I usually allot myself 4hrs to comfortably give myself enough time to drive to New York from Philadelphia. This includes time for a few things: -the potential time to get gas -an hour for unanticipated traffic (on top expected) - Time from the LGA/JFK parking lot to the airport by bus -Random security -Coffee break (most crucial) Though not ideal, this is usually the time where I get in the mindset to start a trip. This is also when I listen to many of my podcasts by the likes of Andrew Huberman, Peter Attia, Joe Rogan, or just vibing to some deep chill tracks (Tritonia orGrouo Therapy by Above & Beyond). Either way, I’ve learned to really enjoy this time of just being. I found this viral sound on Instagram and it resonated because there is something beautiful about slowly approaching New York City, especially during a sunrise. Blessed to call this job my career, and loving every step that comes with it.
