To all those who are experiencing this, don’t worry. _ Clicks/pops/crackles can be common for a lot of people when they first start mobility training. _ If you have limitations in your mobility or poor quality tissue (fibrotic/scar/rigid), these sensations can be more frequent. _ As long as there is no pain associated with it, it’s likely harmless. If there is pain, or the sensations are more jarring, you should decrease your range of motion and bypass those areas. Never push through pain. _ When I first started mobility I had a ton of clicks, pops, and all kinds of funk. It was uncomfortable and humbling. Now I’m smooth as butter, and you will be too - just keep putting in the work. _ Stay buttery 🧈 _ #mobility #mobilitytraining #jointhealth #movebetterlivebetter #movebetterfeelbetter

Mobility is your ability to move. Having good mobility will allow you to move with more freedom and variability. You will have strength and control in various ranges of motion. Navigating your daily life will be much easier and enjoyable. You’ll also be more resilient and not get injured as easily doing regular things. _ Having poor mobility will leave you stiff and tight, and you will struggle moving around. It can feel so debilitating when your movement is limited. These limitations can present as stiffness/tightness, joint pain, and/or constantly being injured. _ Our ability to move is one of the most important aspects of being human and it directly impacts our quality of life. I don’t want to be a stiff tinman, I want to be a buttery ninja. Are you really doing mobility training?? If it looks like… -Lackadaisical stretching -Quick dynamic warm ups -Cool downs -Foam rolling -Lack of focus or intention -No system, just randomness That’s not mobility training. _ If you want to make significant improvements in the way you move and feel, you’ll want to get far more specific and intentional with your training. _ In Kinstretch, we utilize several concepts concepts and we piece together drills systematically. We utilize passive stretches to improve flexibility, then we utilize isometrics to strengthen that end-range tissue, and then we utilize other concepts to teach the nervous system how to produce and control force at those ranges. _ There is a system to the process. When we’re training, we’re doing so with good intention and focus. The mobility sessions are strength training level intensity. Remember, real mobility training is a form of strength training. _ So, if you think you’ve been doing “mobility” but you’re not making the type of progress you’ve been hoping for…it’s probably time to change up your approach. _ 🚨 To learn about my mobility program Kinstretch With Beard or to try my sample class - click the link in my profile under the follow/message button. _ #fyp#fypr#foryoupageb#mobilityb#mobilitytraininginthealth
