This is Jaxon, On his 2nd birthday in August he got concerning labs back which led to him being diagnosed with two very rare genetic conditions- dyskeratosis congenita and congenital amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenia. This started the path to aggressive treatments including stem cell transplant, chemotherapy, and many surgeries. His most recent diagnoses of Hoyeraal-Hreidarsson syndrome and Staph vs. Host disease has him fighting for his life. He was recently intubated in the NICU at NY Presbyterian hospital-to help his little body recover. This is two hours away from home and his mom Jessica had to stop working to be with her boy.
