Did you know that a “fresh start” can boost motivation to pursue your health goals? When you perceive the beginning of a new time period, such as the start of a new year, month, or even a significant personal event, it creates the sense of a clean slate, which: 〰️ encourages you to break away from past failures and adopt a new mindset 〰️ enhances goal-setting and habit change strategies 〰️ provides a sense of hope, optimism, and the belief that you can create positive change If you’re craving a fresh start for healthy habits, the full moon is a powerful time to make it happen 🌕 During a full moon, the lunar energy is at its peak, radiating abundance, illumination, and a sense of renewal. This energy can be harnessed using “moon water”, and used to fuel intentions that support your health goals 💫 This energized water can be used in various ways, including baths, room spray, cooking, drinking, or even just as a symbolic reminder of your fresh start 🫙💦🌕 . . . #moonwater #fullmoonritual #fullmoonvibes #freshstart #healthyhabits

Eating seasonal, locally grown produce from the farmers market not only supports the community, but also has numerous gut health benefits! These fresh fruits and vegetables are typically harvested at peak ripeness, which means they contain high levels of nutrients and fiber that are important for maintaining a healthy gut microbiome 👩🏻🌾💚 In addition, buying local produce means that it hasn't been transported long distances, which can lead to a loss of nutrients and increased exposure to harmful chemicals. Going to the farmer’s market is one of my favorite things about Summer. What are your seasonal, farmers market favorites? 🍅🥬🍓🧄 . . . #farmersmarket #seasonalfood #shoplocal #foodsforguthealth #gutfriendly #sustainablefood #washingtondctiktok #guthealth #guthealthtips #groceryhaul #plantbasedtiktok

I like to prep 3 things on Sunday to set myself up for the week ahead 👇👇👇 Breakfast #otm this week is Pistachio Peach Oats 🍑 (recipe in my stories!) I did a little food science experiment with these and I’m excited to see which variation turns out better: peach + pistachio OR peach + pistachio + ricotta 😋 Salad It’s always an ingredient smorgasbord for me, but prepping a large batch of greens is one of the best Sunday habits you can build! Greens are high in prebiotic fiber and low in calories - the perfect combo for gut health and weight loss! Sheet Pan Meal Choose your protein, veggie, and carb then get creative!! I love Trader Joes pre-marinated chicken thighs. Sheet pan meals are generally a clean slate for flavorful herbs and spices. Also a v efficient use for your time since you can get between 4-6 servings per recipe 👍 Other things you’ll see my ADHD self doing 😂 - taking my crucera-SGS and vitamin d supplements (@Thorne is the only brand i purchase) - eating my daily clove of garlic 🧄 - making caprese salad for father’s day bbq - boiling turkey for my diabetic dog - drinking hugo spritz with my hubby - a LOT of dancing to Lizzo, Dua, and Shania Happy Sunday 💛 . . . #traderjoesmealprep #traderjoes #tjs #traderjoesmeals #guthealth #guthealthymeals #guthealthtips #guthealthtiktok #mealprepideas #mealprep #sundaymealprep
