"One day, my wife woke me up and said, 'I heard explosions'...this is when our lives changed forever." When the war in Ukraine broke out, @Semion and his family fled to Canada. As refugees, they began to rebuild their lives in a new country. But for families that remain in Ukraine, the situation is dire. "Unfortunately, the war is still going on, and thousands of Ukrainians still need help with essentials like food, shelter, clothes, and a lot of people need help to stay warm this winter," says Semion.
