I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I finally finished the Sandman (by Neil Gaiman) inspired spine dress. It’s inspired by Sandman’s helmet and I followed an arrow smocking pattern to make that spine shape and then weaved it into the dress. This whole process involved way too much math and planning for me taste, but hey, it’s finally done! I got this golden starry tulle fabric a while ago and thought this would look great on a satin layer with a black and golden gradient.
