Although it's sad when an animal is surrendered to a shelter, it gives them the opportunity to start over with a better family and a better life. The amount of support this guy has gotten blows me away and I can't thank everyone enough. I always tell people herding dogs are not for non active/inexperienced families. They need training, exercise, stimulation, a job to do, and an experienced owner. Failure to provide these things can result in destructive or "aggressive" behavior. Their behavior isn't a reflection of who they are though, it is a reflection of the owner. Please adopt or shop responsibly and do your research! Labeling a dog as aggressive can be detrimental to them or even fatal.
