On December the 7th, 1987. Ray Thompson terminated David Burke contract at Pacfic southwest for stealing $70. 2 hours later Burke bordered PSW Flight 1771, Ray Thompson was also on this flight. 20 minutes after take-off Burke hands Ray a Note saying: "Hi Ray. I think it's sort of ironical that we end up like this. I asked for some leniency for my family. Remember? Well, I got none and you'll get none" Burke then killed Ray, stormed the cockpit and killed both pilots. He then put the aircraft into an immediate dive. All 43 people on the plane died.
