Long gone are the days where training for goalkeepers was only technical and not functional to games. That’s why in this goalkeeper training session there are three different areas of focus, those being postioning and adjustment to an initial shot on goal, a second part involving distribution outwide in order to play to a possible right or left back, and a third adjustment to an incoming cross from wide positions, where the objective of the goalkeeper is to deal with crosses, or even adjusting to a 3rd shot inside the box. The goal for the keepers in goal is to work on real game scenarios and to make decisions according to the circumstances. Non-working goalkeepers/coach will be in charge of shooting, shadowing and may as well take part in to finishing if there are any rebounds around the box. #goalkeepers #goalkeepertraining #goalkeepersaves #goalkeepergloves #goalkeeper
