I look for features that are important to me like: comfort, made from recycled materials, elastic waistband, stretch, & durability. Here’s a quick, non sponsored review… 🩳 @REI Trailmade Shorts - Made with bluesign approved materials, durable water resistant material, Comfy, elastic waist with draw string, relaxed fit great for curves, comes in lots of fun colors (I got matching green rei pants for my son), the pockets are great! 🩳 @Free Fly Apparel PullOn Breeze Short- These are the most comfortable, super lightweight & durable, zippered pockets in the back, UPF 50+, good for warmer climates, wide flat waistband works great under backpacks. 🩳 @ Romero Short- Made from recycled materials, high waist, comfy & super stretchy, built in compression shorts with hidden pocket, flattering cut, can easily be worn on / off the trail, quick drying. 🩳 @Backcountry Wasatch Ripstop- Great length that covers upper thighs, zippered pockets in front & 2 pockets in back, these RUN BIG in the waist but they come with a belted waistband, durable moisture wicking material from recycled fibers. 🩳 REI Active Pursuit- Best for hot climates. Not as durable as rip stop but super lightweight & breezy, comfortable, wide elastic waist band, UPF50 sun protection, small zippered pocket.
