Apparently we dont speak grouse!!😂🤣 We thought she was sweet but she turned on us! 😂 This is her property and she wants us off it! She was so sweet in the beginning… followed him everywhere and would always fly in when we would go to the pond. I have many videos showing her flying to catch up with him. Then the day i went without him to see her & she attacked me unexpectedly. 🤣 I thought she was mad that i didnt bring him. She even jumped on the 4-wheeler putting her head feathers flat on her head and was looking mean. A week or two later Vinny went down there and she had the same attitude! 😂🤣 Then she followed him down the road. I get a call from my husband that Rugers face was swollen and red around his eyes, nose and mouth. I told him to give him a Benadryl. I get home from work that next morning and his face was a little better but these huge welts popped up all over his body so we took him to the vet and gave him another Benadryl. Who knew that pitbulls are notorious for allergic reactions like this. We learned that we could give him a larger dose of Benadryl than what we gave him. Its 1 mg of Benadryl per pound of your dogs weight. Ruger is almost 80 lbs so we could have gave him 75mg of Benadryl. He got a steroid shot at the vet which worked so fast. Had we known that we could give him 75mg of Benadryl 2-3 times a day it could of saved us that trip to the vet.
