It amazes me what animals like snakes and fish can swallow while. The skull of a pike is very loosely fit together allowing for extreme expansion of the jaws when swallowing large prey items. Sometimes this can lead to their death if they can't swallow said prey. I plan to make a video in the future showing off the amazing ability of Pike to expand and contract their skulls when feeding. Here this "bluegill?" Was swallowed and I'm not sure what happened to the pike but they decided to see what this fish had eaten to make the bulge in its belly Looks like the sunfish got to live another day after literally entering the belly of the beast!! 👀 What's your thoughts?
