For those that know, my twin brother Gregory has autism. The Muppets are pretty much Gregory’s entire life and mantra. The Muppets are an absolute staple in our household. From the Muppet Show, Muppet Movies, action figures, pillows, blankets, clothing, etc., Gregory has also even met one of his favorite puppeteers, Bill Barretta, the voice of Pepe the King Prawn. The Muppets are never unnoticed. ‘Rainbow Connection’ is a song that Gregory has sang for a long time, almost everyday within the last few years. It is a very, very good song if you ever have a chance to simply listen to it. We’re here in Wildwood for our annual traditional Irish Weekend getaway, and Gregory decided to sing this song in dedication to Jim Henson, whom today, would have turned 87. Needless to say, everyone around him absolutely loved his cover.
