Meet Tim, a retiree with a heart of gold, whose selflessness knows no bounds. He has spent countless hours volunteering at his local food bank, The Sharing Place, tirelessly working to contribute to a healthy community through access to food and other essentials. Tim’s dedication didn’t go unnoticed. I teamed up with @TD_Canada, to help them show their gratitude to customers who are helping make a difference in their communities, so we surprised Tim in a way that left him speechless – delivering a literal truckload of food and personal essentials to the food bank in Tim’s honour. As TD expressed their gratitude Tim’s emotions overflowed. The surprise didn’t end there; a $5,000 donation was made by TD to The Sharing Place in Tim’s honour, so the food bank could continue to help community members living with food insecurity.
