This was supposed to be a sketchbook of thumbnails and studies meant to be research/demos for the tree drawing class I began teaching, but quickly transformed into fully finished tree portraits. It’s not what I intended, but being able to spend hundreds of hours drawing trees this year has been a pleasure and an honor. These drawings will be for sale eventually.
