The hair stylist KILLED IT and gave me exactly what I wanted. My hair was box dyed dark brown. I just wanted my natural color back so I asked for a partial highlight to add back some dimension and look like the sun naturally lightened the top. She also cut 2-3 inches of dead ends off.
