Would your cat be this calm next to that water?😂 I wasn’t sure how this would go but he never ceases to make us proud… It was SO cold from the wind so honestly my aviator hat wasn’t keeping me warm enough either. The employees didn’t seem to mind that we went inside because he was stowed away, but if you have a pet that is either noisy or too big to be in a crate then you would definitely have to be out on the deck… the train is a nice alternative, it would take longer but if you have a JRail pass then it’d definitely be cheaper. Storytime… Kyoto was not the experience we had hoped for. We got up at 4am in Osaka to set out for Kyoto with the plan of spending the day there on our way to the Airbnb in Tokyo. It was still insanely busy there and everything in Kyoto is really spaced out so it’s not exactly walkable. The JR pass didn’t help much either. We were feeling really defeated after getting kicked out because of the cat so we just recharged in a garden instead of our original plans.
