I had the apportunity to stay in another @Roostnorthrentals cabin this past weekend, this time it was Holiday House in Traverse City. We had so much fun at this property that I don’t even know where to begin! The house is HUGE and had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It’s so spacious we had a hard time deciding where to hang out, lol! We spent a lot of time outside by the bonfire and in the basement level, which by the way, has a projector! Watching Harry Potter on the wall at night made me feel like I was in a movie theater but with really comfy couches. We were very close to downtown Traverse City so we visited a few times! Liv and Mike had dinner at Cook’s House. We got burgers from Oakwood Proper Burgers, and one night we picked up pizza from the Peegios, my favorite hidden gem. We found a river hike we enjoyed, and one of the days we hiked the Empire Bluff Trail. Basically we had the best time ever. Holiday House is perfect for families and friend groups. Guys, I think I found everyone’s dream Airbnb. @Water_camp is a vintage modern cottage right on the shores of Torch Lake. Yes, THE Torch Lake! Imagine summers spent on the lake - swimming, renting a pontoon, hanging out at the sand bar… it’s a summer playground! For those of you who don’t know, Torch Lake is the longest inland lake in our state and is world famous for it’s clear, Caribbean blue waters. I stayed in November - so not quite swimming weather - but we did get some gorgeous sunsets, and we spent much time at the cabin looking out over the water. This Northern Michigan cabin sleeps 6 and has 1 bathroom. It’s near many hiking trails, restaurants, and stores.
