❀ Flower doughnuts ❀ Recipe also linked in bio 🫶🏼 Doughnuts: 300ml milk 8g active dry yeast 2 eggs (the eggs I used were 70g & 68g) 100g unsalted butter (melted) 50g granulated sugar 600g all-purpose flour 1 tsp salt Topping: powdered sugar & jam of your choice Instructions: Slightly heat the milk until it is lukewarm and in a bowl combine it with the yeast (let sit for 5 min) Mix together the eggs, butter, sugar and yeast mixture Add half of the dry ingredients (flour and salt) and mix until combined before adding the rest Transfer the dough on a floured surface and gently knead it until smooth Transfer the dough to a floured bowl and cover, let rise at room temp. for 1h Shape the dough into 100g balls -> I cut the edges of the donut balls to make the flower shape Place your flower shaped donuts on parchment paper Heat your fryer to 155°C and cook for about 3 minutes on each side Once cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and put some jam in the middle #flower #donuts #doughnut #recipe #donutrecipe #baking #weekend #spring
