Thank you all for your love prayers and support over the last couple months. We love sharing our families journey but right now we need a time of rest and recovery individually and as a family. We will periodically update if something happens but for the most part you will not hear from us. Well long story short we didnnot end up making it home for Christmas but Elijah Sam and Rae where able to be here and spend 3 whole days with us! Lucas ended up catching a bad respiratory virus the day after we posted about going home. He required a lot of oxygen again and all his vent settings went up as well. He needed around the clock breathing treatments due to lots of intense asthmatic attacks. This meant he had to return to the PICU for a week. Thats brings us to today. Lucas is out of the PICU!! We are all settled into our new room. He is doing much better! Requiring less oxygen and less breathing treatments. The doctors are working hard to get his vent settings down so we don’t have to stay much longer! Thank you to those who have prayed, reached out and have helped in other ways!
