Adobe will be removing creative cloud sync for Photoshop and other Creative Suit software in February 2024 and completely removing creative cloud for all non business/team users in October 2024. I'm big on non-art art books tbh. You'll get a lot of mileage with photography/Ref books because all of the references and resources those books offer have been curated. They are usually well researched too so you'll be able to find even more information if you need it.
