Reflecting on the whirlwind that was 2023 – a tapestry woven with art triumphs, the sweet arrival of Parker, and watching Charlie blossom into the most amazing big sister have all been the top highlights of this year. From conquering colossal commissions to embracing those precious newborn snuggles, it’s been a ride. After a brief hiatus (or in business terms— maternity leave), I dove back into the creative waters, creating two new collections and tackling numerous commissions. Balancing work and family this year became an intricate dance, teaching me the valuable lesson of slowing down and embracing intentionality… and I’m still in the process of learning these! Stepping into 2024, my goal is crystal clear: infuse intention into my art and business and in turn to be more present with my family that we worked so hard to create. Another goal on the list? Dive into new art mediums, injecting fresh life into my creations. And let’s not forget the biggest one of all, resisting the urge to overwork like I did in years past.
