Not everyone is going to like your homebrew as much as you do, and that's okay. As long as it's reasonably balanced & you like the idea, I say run it. If it doesn't go over as well as you thought it would, don't sweat it. Take note of what worked and what didn't and let that inform your next homebrew idea.
