I’ve been feeling this pull to make a change. We’ve gotten so used to modern convenience. Living right in town, food delivery, traveling. But all that convenience can be dangerous if you’re not paying attention. The amount of preservatives, toxins, and overall garbage in our food is not something you can unsee. Over the years I’ve made our small piece of land work. I’ve planted fruit trees, grown a garden, built a chicken house last year with my dad and am starting to explore bread making. But this year I am committing to following through with not just growing food but preserving it and making more things from scratch.
