I have to agree that lining the upper and lower lash line with heavy black liner is harsh. However, if you are a creature of habit and just can’t bring yourself to try something new, then here are a couple suggestions of ways that you can at least soften the look and give a little bit more lift to the eye A second alternative, includes tight lining this is just placing a little bit of liner rate up against the upper line almost filling in the gaps between the lashes only. Make sure in both cases that you are connecting the upper and lower liner. I love a gel eyeliner and this one is waterproof (but removes easily IMO) - no chisel needed 😂 Which look did you like better? First of all I don’t make the rules😂 And if you don’t follow these rules you’re not going to eyeshadow detention 🤣 But, we can get caught up in doing our eyes the way we did when they weren’t crepey and saggy. ⭐️Matte shadow under the brow in a lighter shade to lift the eye without accentuating texture. ⭐️Eyeliner (if you even use it) concentrate on the outer corner - check out how I built up the color a smidge in from the outer corner to give a more lifted look then met the liner in the outer lower lash line with the upper. Smudge it out to soften. Even take a neutral shade over it for a softer look. ⭐️Use a neutral/transition shade just above the crease to provide the framework for the rest of your look.
