Limewashing our tinyhouse was the best decision. Here are my five tips if you are thinking about limewashing your walls! 1. Primer. Don’t skip this step! Prime your walls using 100% acrylic primer. 2. Stir. Make sure you stir the paint thoroughly before starting as well as in between sections. 3. Block Brush. Use a block brush for limewashing. 4. Different Strokes. Use random multi-directional strokes and try to keep a wet edge by working in a small section. 5. Layering. Increase movement by layering two shades or different colors.
