YOUR COMMUNICATION IS KEY...⬇️ The quality of the relationship between you and your coparent can have a massive influence on the mental and emotional well-being of your child(ren). 💯 Now some of you may still find faults in the messages displayed 🙄 however, we are far from perfect. We are only connected because of the child we have, therefore our communication should always be focused around him and whats best for him.💙 If you look over your messages and find that alot of them dont inolve the child, then maybe thats one of the issues that can be addressed.🤔 Remember...you dont HAVE to respond to every message that is sent❌️ And you dont have to know everything you are about to ask... Here are some things that have worked for me over the years ⬇️ 1️⃣. Its a business: Approach the relationship with your ex as a business partnership where your “business” is your children's well-being. 2️⃣. What if your child heard: Imagine everything you ever say or write, could one day been seen or heard by your child. This mindset may make you think before you react. 3️⃣. Listen: Communicating with maturity starts with listening, not just waiting for your moment to speak. Even if you end up disagreeing with the other parent, you should at least be able to convey to your coparent that you've understood their point. 4️⃣. STAY CHILD FOCUSED: Keep discussions centered around topics directly related to the child's well-being and needs.
