I'm getting a lot of questions on what I did with my proceeds from the sale of my company. Here's where the money has gone (so far): - Did a major remodel on my house - Paid off my jumbo mortgage - Paid off debts such as credit cards - Made investments - including in a venture fund for companies run by woman founders - Bought a new electric car - I threw a 3 day 60th birthday party for my husband in Palm Springs (for 150 people!) - I took a two week trip to Cuba and Mexico City - I started to be more generous with gifts and nights out with friends and family Honestly, my lifestyle has not changed much, and I don't want it to. I still take the bus, my family still only has one car, and I live in the same house that I did when I was bootstrapping my startup. My dream is to one day visit @The Resort at Paws Up in Montana with my family, but I can't justify the cost of that to myself yet.
