They are similar to Disneyland's Monte Cristos and would make the perfect appetizer OR meal. #bistrofavespartner #welcometothebistro INGREDIENTS: *@Bistro Favorites rotisserie seasoned turkey breast *Bistro Faborites uncured black forest ham *Swiss or Gruyère cheese *8 slices of white bread *1 1/2 cup vegetable oil *1 1/2 cups flour *1 TBSP baking powder *1/4 tsp salt *1 1/3 cups water *1 egg *Your favorite jam or preserves *Powder sugar for dusting 📍RECIPE: 1. Pour the vegetable oil into a saucepan over medium-high heat on stovetop. 2. While oil is heating, in a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, water and egg. Whisk until the consistency is like pancake batter. Set aside. 3. Grab your slices of bread and start making sandwiches with ham, turkey, and cheese. Cut each into four triangles. and place a toothpick in each one to keep it together. 4. Carefully spoon batter onto each triangle sandwich. (Do not dip it fully in batter or it will fall apart!) 5. Use a spoon to place each sandwich into the oil. The oil should sizzle. Cook about 45 seconds to one minute and flip when you see the side becoming golden brown. Do the same for the other side, remove, and set on a plate. 6. After the sandwiches are removed, sprinkle powdered sugar on top. 7.
