Even if you're not ready to invest, there are things you can do to prepare you're ready. 1. Network! Networking is the absolute best way to get great deals right now. The days of finding good deals on Zillow are long gone! Get out and network! 2. Money! One of the biggest misconceptions about real estate investing is that you need a lot of money! And that's not true! In fact, some people invest with no money (not me). And while this can be true for some, in order to grow and scale a portfolio, you'll need decent credit and the ability to handle money! And not blow a bag! 3. Learn and research! Read books, listen to podcasts, find a mentor! Be a sponge for all things real estate investing. Now's the time to learn about the various ways to invest, the different ways to finance deals, research the market you might want to invest in, learn about landlord/tenant laws! Be a sponge!
